General Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Locate and collect data from the appropriate source and analyzes it to prepare meaningful and concise reports that summarize the information.
• Define processes to help embed data analysis throughout product discovery and development.
• Communicate issues, client feedback, and edge case scenarios to the Client Relations team and other relevant team members as appropriate.
• Develop, design, and maintain automation for data processing
• Troubleshooting any issues that arise with new database applications, and providing solutions to implement
• Applying technical design and development skills to the creation of database programs
• Analyzing existing databases and data needs of clients to develop effective systems
• Prioritize and manage multiple assignments based on urgency levels while identifying possible issues preventing task completion in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to mine and analyze data to drive optimization and improvement
• Create insightful visualizations (e.g. charts, dashboards)
• Grow and mature the use of our data, ultimately making it a high-value resource within the company

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, or soon-to-be graduate, in Computer Information Systems
• Experience as a data/financial analyst preferred or newly graduated with a CIS degree
• Advance Excel Skills required and other complimentary Microsoft Tools
• Must have experience with Excel Macro Tools and/or JavaScript
• Proficiency in SQL with ability to write complex SQL queries and other features
• Using knowledge of specific programming languages and codes
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment with a high sense of urgency
• Salesforce experience is a plus or a willingness to learn
• Thorough knowledge of physical database design and data structures
• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
• Ability to recognize the relationship between data elements
• Knowledge of database objects including tables, indexes, views, and statistics
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
