Agreement Offers All Federal Employees Access to UNA Education - United Benefits

Great news! The University of North Alabama (UNA) has joined forces with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management as part of the Federal Academic Alliance. This makes UNA one of only a few colleges in the country to offer reduced tuition rates to over 2 million federal government employees.

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) entered into this agreement with UNA to address the skills gap in important occupations and provide federal employees with access to high-quality, affordable education. UNA offers a wide range of programs, including certificates, bachelors, masters, and doctorates, across four colleges.

The Federal Academic Alliance was created in 2014 to ensure federal employees have access to quality talent development opportunities in important occupations, such as economics, human resources, cybersecurity, and STEM fields.
